The art of Tunisian ceramics and pottery is rooted in the local traditions.
The terracotta earthenware jars were used to store and preserve such things as corn, dates and olive oil.
Over the years the influences of other nations introduced the colors and glazes used in today’s ceramics.
All our products are made using white clay which is much more durable than the red clay often used in Moroccan ceramics or other Tunisian potteries.
So that it can be used in the microwave and is OK in the dishwasher.
All our ceramics are food safe.
